What a life-changing weekend!  Full of the overcoming power and unmistakable love of Jesus, we saw hundreds and hundreds of people turn from darkness and Satan to light and salvation.  Even with witchcraft and occultic groups at work to hinder the message ... the Gospel could not be stopped!

Mighty miracles and the fire power of the Holy Spirit reminded us all how much God loves Honduras.  What a Savior!

STEPHEN'S STORY FROM SATURDAY NIGHT
Most of you know by now that I was not able to finish the Saturday night crusade message in Villanueva, Honduras.  But the Lord watched over me and was magnified in the process.

Here is Steve and Nita’s description of what happened: it was “a night of tremendous spiritual warfare – the most LOLI has ever encountered.  Stephen began to preach, but then was physically unable to continue.  Steve took up the message and preached the rest of the way.  The people are to be commended for their response of faith.  After it became apparent that Stephen was not coming back quickly and was not feeling well, we led everyone in prayer for him – and they prayed fervently!  As encouraging updates on his condition were received, they were shared with the people, who applauded enthusiastically each time.  Everyone stayed throughout the night, the Holy Spirit moved, and victory was won!  Afterward, we learned that articles of witchcraft were found underneath the stage and in the field. A cult had been present, handing out flyers against Christianity etc.  It was reported to us that on Friday night, one of them had told a security guard that the event was not be finished on Saturday night – that it would be shut down.  Thanks be to God that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and given us victory in Jesus’ name!”

Indeed, a mighty victory was won this weekend as hundreds and hundreds of people said yes to Jesus and many were filled with the Holy Spirit.  There is plenty more to report (below) but I want to end by saying thank you.  In the last three campaigns we have added hundreds of intercessors on the ground at these crusades and the result has been a clear escalation of power and glory.  I know many of you have also been praying – and I want to say thank you from my heart.  I’m aware that as the Lord continues to open the doors in Honduras and Latin America, we absolutely need your prayer support on a personal level and as a ministry.  We’re not going to stop preaching the Gospel just because of this one incident.  And I hope it causes you to pray even more for us as we press ahead for souls.

MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!
Doctors had told a teenage girl that she would never be able to sing.  But when she heard about the crusade choir – she joined anyways in faith.  As the fire of the Holy Spirit fell on Saturday night, her voice opened and she was able to sing!  Wilmer had her sing into the microphone on the platform and this girl was overwhelmed with the presence of the Lord.  She just stood on the platform worshipping the Lord for a long time.  Even after she was taken off the stage, she did not leave the area – she just stood there and continued to worship Jesus!

WHAT CRUTCH?
An older lady came to the crusade needing 2 crutches.  The Lord touched her on Saturday night and she came up to testify that now she could walk with only 1 crutch.  William looked and her and said, “No, the Lord is giving you complete healing” and took the one crutch away.  And she began to walk with no crutches!

LOOK AT MY HAND!
Derlin, an older lady, had burned her left hand.  She had been unable to move her fingers or apply any pressure (as in squeezing something).  When Nita prayed for her as she went through the crowd, she was healed.  She and her husband were overwhelmed with excitement and amazement as she came forward to testify what had happened and show how she could now use her fingers. 

JUMPING FOR JOY
A 15 year old girl testified that she had suffered from inflammation in her colon for a couple of months.  The condition caused her a lot of pain, to the point that it hurt to walk and move around.  On Friday night, she felt the pain intensify then leave during prayer for healing.  On stage she could not stop jumping up and down demonstrating that she was pain free.  Overwhelmed by the presence of the Lord and His goodness, she wept the entire time!

MESSAGE OF THE CROSS
The Friday night message on Psalm 22 dealt with the love of Jesus as demonstrated by the cross.  The response to the salvation altar call was so large that it was not possible for the people to come forward.  What we do know is the kingdom of God advanced and many hundreds of people made a decision to follow Jesus!
